What fantastic boots these are. I'm well happy with mine! Out the box they feel slightly heavy cos of the steel toes and shank but on the feet they are perfect, nicely balanced and not heavy at all. They're a lovely matt black.
They take a little breaking in but only a day or two. Because they're well padded the leather takes a little while to crease but it does after a few days, not as much as DMs but these boots are in a totally different class. They're well made with great stitching, they're supremely comfortable and supportive to wear all day and don't smell(!), no bits cut into your feet, they're easy to lace and once tied stay tied, totally waterproof, and with a great look of thuggish elegance (which to be honest is why I wanted them ha ha).
I've not tested the resistance to blood borne pathogens or fire and not really likely to, I'm not a copper, I wear mine to an office and nobody's gone off on one at me, what a fantastic bit of kit this is.
My first pair were size 10 and came up a bit small so I returned them for a size 11, Patrol Store's customer service is excellent, they sent the new pair straight away.
I can't rate these highly enough. Coming from DMs and cheapo Blackrock things these are just the danglies so buy some, fantastic price, and I am certain you won't be disappointed.
