The Silva L3 Headlamp is a substantial yet very efficient headlamp with five light modes, including blinking, increased/decreased brightness and a red LED.

This is great for military use as you can either use the white light option if you're in a non tactical situation or there's the red light if night vision is a factor or you don't want to compromise your position, such as digging in at a new location.
