I have spent hours over the years choosing boots (the MkI Personnel Carrier) to wear on duty, but would happily wear the same old 'tatty' socks, but blame my boots for my sore feet, not my socks. Well, never again!

They do not have annoying seams which split, and they are long enough to fit comfortably inside a full length duty boot - and then stay up, too.
